Go from modifying cute clip art with Canva to crafting unique illustrations, motifs, & patterns in Adobe Illustrator.

You are committed to creating quality printables and digital products.

You’re also really good at Canva but you recognize that it has its limitations and so do you! You’re ready to take your skills further and level up your design but Illustrator just intimidates you and you need guidance.

I hear you friend, and guess what? You’re not alone!

That’s why I decided to finally teach Adobe Illustrator the way I use it, to create printable and digital products that will stop the scroll all while breaking the barrier and getting you comfortable with one of the industry’s most powerful programs.

Wouldn’t it be amazing if you sorta got “tricked” into learning Illustrator?

Sometimes, when a task feels a little daunting, we can make it much more enjoyable and distract our mind into forgetting we’re intimidated.

In Illustrator for Printables, I’m going to walk you through a 3 part process that I use for creating printables with pretty flowers like the ones you see in this page. We’ll take it one step at a time, build on our skills, and come out at the end with a collection of digital products that will be ready for your shop.

All the while, you’ll have learned Illustrator without even realizing it AND without being afraid!

We’ll do this with my 3 part system

The Foundation of Gorgeous Printables

Illustrations

You’re past modifying clip art, you want to make YOUR OWN art and Illustrator is the best tool for it. We’ll start by getting you comfortable with illustrating & cleaning up your art. We’ll also go over drawing in Fresco & using the same techniques to clean up your illustrations.

Motifs

Once you’re comfortable with making simple illustrations, we’ll take it up a notch by combining them to make motifs that you can turn into more complex illustrations and even start to use in designs and final products.

Patterns

Finally, one of THE most versatile skills to learn is pattern creation. We’ll build on your skills and use the illustrations & motifs you’ve created to make a custom pattern and after a small collection of patterns that you can use together.

With these 3 powerful elements in play, we’ll then apply them to different types of products using templates I will provide so that by the time you’re done with this course, you’ll have your very first collection of products!

Hey, I’m Kimberly!

I’m a designer, illustrator, and lettering artist who believes that everyone is a creative at heart. I made my way from small-town Costa Rica to big town NYC, working for studios like Nick Jr., Cartoon Network and Disney on Broadway.

I have over 20 years experience in design, have worked as an Art Director for close to 6 years, have run my own stationery shop, know the ins and outs of product creation and running a successful Etsy shop.

I’m passionate about designing a life of freedom – one that allows me to spend time with my family and working on my art – and I’m committed to helping you do the same by harnessing the power of Illustrator to design beautiful printables & digital products that will stop the scroll and sell easily.

Got questions? I’ve got Answers.

No. The price you pay today only includes the course. Adobe Illustrator can be purchased via subscription for $20/mo. It is an investment yes, but for serious printables & digital product creators, Illustrator is the industry standard in design and it’s and investment that you will not regret.

I want to try and help as many people as I possibly can so I tried to keep everything as simple and cost effective as possible. That’s also why I decided to offer a 4 Split Pay plan for this pre-order, so it’s easier for you to manage. There’s no extra fee for paying in installments, just added convenience.

That’s okay. That’s why you’re getting this course! I’m going to walk you through right from opening the program through to exporting your files. Also remember, we’ll have a group where you can ask questions & request reviews of your work.

Unfortunately, because of the digital nature of this course, I do not offer refunds. PLEASE read carefully to make sure that you’re making the right decision for YOU. If you’d like to ask me more questions, email me at hello@kimberlycosta.com
