Stages of Product Development

Planning

We’ll plan what product(s) you’re going to create and break down the steps you need to get it done. We’ll use tools like the Product Design Planner & a Production Schedule to plan effectively.

Designing

Once you’ve planned your product you’ll begin to create it. This will include work in different software. Opportunities for Video Reviews by a professional designer (me) will be very beneficial in this stage.

Listing

Listing products is one of the most important and difficult steps for creatives to follow through on. We’ll discuss using the Listing Database to track the info you need to list your products in different platforms.

I pride myself in being a chaotic creative and in this section I’m supposed to make you feel confident about working with me by giving you my amazing credentials, like the fact that I’ve worked on shows for studios like PBS Kids, Cartoon Network, and Nick Jr.

I should also tell you that I have over 20 years experience in design, have worked as an Art Director for over 5 years, have run my own stationery shop, know the ins and outs of product creation and running a successful Etsy shop.

And while all that is wonderful and absolutely true, the one reason I think I’m the girl to help you with implementation is because I struggle with it daily. I was diagnosed with ADHD about a year ago and the chaos finally made sense.
